This book grew out of the author’s thesis titled “In Vivo Study of Karana (Saṃskãra) with Special Reference to the Effect of Water Prepared in Copper Vessel.” While preparing that research, I realised that the subject had immense significance—not only for Ayurveda students and researchers but also for the general public concerned about safe water and healthy living. The journey of translating my research into this book was driven by a deep desire to make this knowledge more accessible, structured, and meaningful.
The book is not limited to presenting experimental results. It explores water through both Ayurvedic and modern lenses, examines copper as a medicinal and biological element, and discusses how these perspectives converge in contemporary healthcare. It highlights how a simple lifestyle practice—drinking water from a copper vessel—can serve as a preventive measure against disease, improve metabolism, and contribute to sustainable living.
