This book presents the development and laboratory evaluation of a herbo-mineral periocular patch formulated through the integration of Ayurvedic principles and contemporary pharmaceutical technology. The work originated from my postgraduate research and has been reorganized and expanded into a book format to present the research journey in a systematic manner—from the scientific understanding of Dry Eye Syndrome and its Ayurvedic perspective to selection and processing of ingredients, formulation development, optimization, analytical evaluation, in-vitro drug release and stability assessment.
The book is intended to provide a concise yet comprehensive account of the research methodology, pharmaceutical development and analytical findings associated with the formulation. It also seeks to demonstrate how traditional Ayurvedic pharmaceutical knowledge can be systematically explored using modern scientific and analytical approaches.
