Fundamental understanding about the formulae and mathematical expressions used in the book can be obtained from any suitable text book on Machine Design. However, the design data employed in this book has been exclusively taken from the popular handbook titled “Machine Design Data Book” by V. B. Bhandari, Second Edition, McGraw Hill Education (India) Private Limited, 2019. The readers are recommended to refer to this data hand book (DHB) only while going through the numericals in this book.
