The purpose of writing this book is to help readers develop awareness, emotional strength, calmness and clarity in everyday life. The concept of mindfulness is often misunderstood as something complicated.
In reality, mindfulness begins with very simple things: ● Taking one conscious breath ● Listening with full attention ● Responding calmly instead of reacting emotionally ● Being present in the moment ● Observing thoughts without becoming controlled by them.
This book explains mindfulness in a practical and relatable manner through real-life-inspired stories, simple explanations, reflection exercises, and mindful practices. The stories in this book are based on situations and experiences I have personally observed during my years of teaching and counselling.
