The present book has been conceived with the objective of presenting anorectal diseases in a systematic, clinically relevant, and contemporary manner. It brings together the fundamental concepts of anorectal anatomy and pathology with modern surgical principles and selected Ayurvedic approaches. The initial chapters provide a foundation in applied anatomy and classification, followed by detailed discussions of common benign anorectal disorders, particularly hemorrhoids, fistula-in-ano, and anal fissure. Other clinically significant anorectal conditions are also introduced to provide a broader perspective for students and practitioners.
