Description

The Indo-Japan Printmaking Exhibition, entitled “Impressions Across Borders: Indo-Japan Printmaking Exchange,” critically examines the intersections of art, culture, and socio-political themes conveyed through printmaking. This show explores the role of printmaking, historically associated with communication and resistance, as a potent instrument for political discourse in India and Japan.

ADVANCE DIAGNOSTIC AIDS IN SCREENING OF ORAL CANCER

₹299.00
Oral cancer is the sixth most common malignancy with almost 500000 new cases reported worldwide annually. The diagnosis of oral cancer at an early stage has a good prognosis as the survival rate is high (around 80%). However, the majority of oral cancer cases are diagnosed at a later stage with a considerably poor 5-year survival rate of 50% according to World Health Organization statistics. Thus, an effective management strategy for oral cancer will depend on its early identification and intervention which would pave the way for superior prognosi

A Detailed Survey On Religiosity And Paranormal Experiences

₹299.00
This study is about people in their formative years. It is about their beliefs and practices. It is about their personality and how it relates to their beliefs. It involves empirical investigation of 1800 college going men (882) and women (918) with an average age of about 20 years. The subjects are predominantly Hindu (85%), with 12% Christian and 3% Muslim student attending colleges in Visakhapatnam urban area. Data were collected from them using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the two specially developed questionnaires that survey religiosity and paranormal beliefs and experiences. Paranormal beliefs and experiences surveyed included sacred as well as secular beliefs, experiences, and practices. While several studies in the West attempted to explore the relationships between personality, paranormal beliefs and religious practices and experiences, there are hardly any investigations in non-Judeo-Christian cultures. The present study can help by throwing light on the cross-cultural relevance of these findings

STEM CELLS IN DENTISTRY

₹269.00
“And now science has presented us with a hope called stem cell research, which may provide our scientists with many answers that have for so long been beyond our grasp. I don't see how we can turn our backs on this. There are so many diseases that can be cured or at least helped. We've lost so much time already. I can't bear to lose any more.”

The Postcolonial Experience

₹399.00
I would like to investigate the genre of postcolonial science fiction in the context of capitalist globalization. Science fiction is predominantly a western genre, and it is very difficult to find postcolonial/third world works in this genre. I will first try and establish the validity of this genre and how it relates to globalization and imperialism. Some of the key questions I will examine are: How postcolonial science fiction relates to late capitalism and globalization? What is the role of technoscapes in the genesis of postcolonial science fiction genre and how in turn postcolonial science fiction represents technoscapes?

BIO MATERIALS FOR DENTAL IMPLANTS

Many surgical procedures have been developed to restore more favorable anatomy for prosthesis support. They include vestibuloplasty, Vestibuloplasty with skin or mucosal grafting; and augmentation with bone grafting procedures. These procedures offered short-term improvement to denture stability and retention; however none showed long-term clinical success. Hence implant dentistry had evolved into a reasonably predictable treatment modality for the majority of such patients
