The Postcolonial Experience
I would like to investigate the genre of postcolonial
science fiction in the context of capitalist globalization.
Science fiction is predominantly a western genre, and it is
very difficult to find postcolonial/third world works in this
genre. I will first try and establish the validity of this genre
and how it relates to globalization and imperialism. Some
of the key questions I will examine are: How postcolonial
science fiction relates to late capitalism and globalization?
What is the role of technoscapes in the genesis of
postcolonial science fiction genre and how in turn
postcolonial science fiction represents technoscapes?

The country has seen a radical revolution in retailing
after globalization. Different formats of stores have been
opened up many in cities across India. The multi-storied
malls, hypermarkets, supermarkets have all made a
revolution in retail experience among the consumers.
Therefore, the customers do not only visit the store for
buying goods and services, they go with the expectation of
having fun, entertainment, spending leisure time etc.
Moreover, the consumers‟ purchasing power has been
increasing and this encourages the retailers to concentrate
on building a better environment in the stores.
ANALOG ELECTRONICS
A better device is the triac, bidirectional thyristor, which allows the full a.c. power to be controlled. It comprises two thyristors connected in parallel and working in opposition but controlled by the same gate. The trigger pulses to a triac are provided by a special device called diac, bidirectional breakdown diode. It is, in effect, two Zener diodes connected back to back. CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN INDIAN BANKING INDUSTRY
Initially Indian commercial banks were classified into four core groups viz. State Bank Group (SBG), Nationalized Banks (NBs), Old Private Sector Banks (OPSBs) and New Private Sector Banks (NPSBs). Then one commercial bank was selected from each of the four core groups. The selection of banks from each group was based on a study conducted by IIM-Udaipur along with Economic Times and an independent organization named Futurescape2. Their study identified India‟s top 100 companies for sustainability and CSR.
