The present book focuses on the development of a lyophilized Takrarishta preparation as a probiotic supplement, integrating classical Ayurvedic principles with contemporary pharmaceutical and analytical approaches. The journey encompasses pharmaceutical development and standardization, lyophilization, physicochemical evaluation, chromatographic and instrumental analysis, accelerated stability assessment, and evaluation of viable microbial count.
An important aspect of this work is the attempt to view traditional Ayurvedic fermentation through a modern scientific lens without losing its classical identity. The study explores how fermentation, preservation, and freeze-drying may collectively influence the stability and viability of the preparation, offering a perspective at the interface of Ayurvedic pharmaceutics and contemporary probiotic science
