This book presents the development and scientific evaluation of a herbo-mineral tablet formulated using Kupilu, Dhatura, Rasna, Maricha, Kajjali, and Lauha Bhasma, with Kanji employed for Bhavana. The formulation was developed by integrating classical pharmaceutical principles with contemporary approaches to formulation development and evaluation.
The work encompasses the pharmaceutical preparation and evaluation of the developed formulation, followed by physicochemical and advanced analytical characterization. Its safety was assessed through an acute oral toxicity study, while its pharmacological potential was explored through experimental evaluation of analgesic activity using hot plate and tail-flick models.
