AGADTANTRA: KALA EVAM KRIYA

This volume brings together, under a single cover, two studies that grew out of the same desk and the same teaching load, but that ask very different questions of the same subject. The first began as a narrow textual observation about how the classical Samhitas quietly qualify almost every description of poison behaviour with a statement about time and grew into a book-length study of what we have called the chronotoxicological dimension of Agadtantra. The second began as a much more practical frustration — the absence of a single, exam-and-ward-ready account of how a BAMS student should actually manage a poisoning or trauma emergency, classical and modern treatment held side by side rather than taught as two unconnected subjects — and grew into an eighteen-chapter handbook of emergency management.
