This book is an attempt to compile the information available in books, reports, scientific journals and on internet. The information compiled and submitted by Sri M.K. Yadav (2014) to the Honorable Gauhati High Court in a reply against a PIL about KNP, White Paper submitted on Management of Wildlife in Legislative Assembly of Assam and the literature compiled during the Centenary celebration of KNP in 2005 about KNP were the base of this book and source of inspiration for compiling this information in a book form. Information from the regular publication of Forest Department Assam Forest at Glance”, Rhino Foundation Reports and information collected through RTI at different time too were included to complete the missing information. The personal experiences of the visits are also added as per its suitability. This book is partly technical and partly informative
